Dear Friend I think it's time for you to know,
What on Earths being hurting me so,
You see the past has come back to haunt me,
And now I think you need to see.
The happy person you think I am,
Well you see it's just all a sham,
I put on this smile to fool them all,
To make them think I will never fall.
But you see friend, I am falling,
I know it is appalling,
Because I'm the happy one right?
Well… not quite.
I arrive home and the smile fades,
I end my life game of charades,
I cry myself to sleep at night,
Awaking from a dream in such a fright.
Dear friend I'm scared and you should know,
Because you're the one saving me so:
I thank you friend for being the person I need,
To make me realise that I can not leave.

Think my mind wasn't really in a happy place when I wrote this a couple of months ago. I was having a really hard time and had just told my best friend about what'd being wrong so I wrote this. Thanks... friend
