Literature Text

I see you through the window,
Feel the tears welling up,
I fall into your arms,
And let you hold me tight.

But no I did not cry,
I managed to hold the tears inside,
And yes you did hold me tight,
And I never wanted you to let go.

Pull into the drive; look up at the new house,
It already feels like a home to me,
I see the dogs looking out,
Eagerly waiting with wide puppy eyes.

Yes things were the same,
Nothing seemed to have changed,
And yes the dogs did remember me,
Stood yapping by my feet.

Sat on the sofa, watching TV,
Talking about life and everything,
Time for bed to your disappointment,
But you needn't worry I'd still be there in the morning.

Yes you did kiss me goodnight,
Gave me a long lasting hug,
And yes memories were shared,
About the long lost past.

The car pulls up at the train station,
I step out and look into your eyes,
You hug me for one last time,
While I tried so hard not to cry.

Yes I did cry when I left,
All on the train the tears fell,
And yes I will come back again,
For Christmas I promise.

Your last words ring in my ears,
"Don't cry you can come back"
You will always love me,
I know that is true,
You will always be there for me,
I know that is true,
You will always care about me,
Yes… I know that is true.

And I could say all that about you,
And know that it is all true.
well this is basically some answers from my poem written ages ago... "tomorrows the day!" This was harder than what i was expecting to write but i got it done eventually... I know it isn't well written but ah well..
